Horseshoes is a game for everyone to enjoy
including kids of all ages, women, and seniors.
Pitching distances vary for all age groups.
The Greater Omaha Horseshoe League currently
has summer and winter leagues open to everyone
of all skill levels. In addition, by becoming a
member of the National Horseshoe Pitchers
Association, you can compete in sanctioned events
throughout the year, as well as State, National, and
World Championships. You will generally play
against others of similiar ability or a handicap
scoring system is sometimes used.
Doubles and teams are also popular formats for
competition.
Courts are available at several area city parks and
an indoor facility is available for winter leagues at
66th and Grover in Omaha.
Horseshoe pitching is fun, inexpensive, and is also
great exercise.
