Horseshoes is a game for everyone to enjoy including boys and
girls of all ages, women, and seniors.
The Greater Omaha Horseshoe League currently has summer and winter
leagues open to everyone of all skill levels.
Pitching distances vary for all age groups.
In addition, by becoming a member of the National Horseshoe Pitchers
Association, you can compete in sanctioned events throughout the year,
as well as State, National, and World Championships.
You will generally play against others of similar ability or a handicap
scoring system is sometimes used.
Doubles and teams are also popular formats for competition.
Horseshoe pitching is fun, inexpensive, and is also great exercise.
Don't ever think it looks too hard. Remember, close counts in horseshoes.
